BISHOP'S TESTIMONY

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my testimony.
I accepted the Lord in 1986 while in High School. I had heard of the Gospel early when I was 5 years old but couldn't find someone who could explain to me the way of salvation profoundly. My new birth brought about many changes in my life. As I worked out my salvation with fear and trembling, I started experiencing changes in my life - a real transformation. I started serving the Lord in a local church as the Lord began teaching me greater things of the kingdom.
The Lord called me to pastoral ministry in 1994. In 1999 I was ordained as the pastor of Christ Chapel. As I served in this capacity, the Lord gave me favor to open other branches in the country. In 2004, February 12th, I was consecrated as the presiding bishop of the Christ Chapel Ministries. To date I oversee several churches across the country. The Lord has been faithful.

TRANSFORMATIONAL INITIATIVES
We believe that man can only experience real change as a result of the application of the gospel. In Christ Chapel, we are reaching out to the communities of Kenya, as a light to the world. We believe in living the gospel. Our lives bear a greater testimony that vindicates our witness.
In 2003, Christ Chapel Integrated Development Initiatives (CCIDI) was registered. The vision of this faith based organization is TOTAL HUMAN TRANSFORMATION.
Through this initiative, we have been able to start an orphanage. The orphanage is rescuing the Huruma children who have been orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS and other causes. This has been ministering love to the community. Through this initiative, we are involving the community to practice giving services and even resources to care for their children.

We intend to renovate a bigger facility for their accommodation and put up an office for counseling and administrative work.
For this expansion, we are raising $3500.
Support for food and salaries for the support staff is requested.
Currently, we seek for support to enable us realize the goals for these children.

CCIDI is also involved in educating the youth of Huruma who are unable to go to school, especially the girl-child. One way to defeat poverty is through education.
The youth in this area are the most vulnerable. Most of them wonder about without jobs and an income. As a result, they engage in crime, sexual promiscuity, drug trafficking and the like. CCIDI has taken up this challenge and is counseling them and training them on purposeful living. Those that are able to engage in small scale businesses are encouraged and trained to best manage their business.
In this endeavour, CCIDI seeks partners who can support this initiative as we empower the youth in this area so that they can be self sustaining.
